Nebraska: The Huskers first Big 10 home game against Ohio State was a perfect way to bounce back from their sad loss against Wisconsin and also showed that Nebraska earned its immediate
position amongst the Big 10 elites. Trailing the Buckeyes 27-6 in the third quarter, Nebraska rallied back to score 28 unanswered points to get the 34-27 win, the biggest comeback in Nebraska history. The Huskers were lead by Rex Burkhead, who scored both fourth quarter touchdowns for Nebraska, including the winning score with five minutes left in the game.
NCAA rule book: Section 2, Article 1 (Unsportsmanlike act): This brand new rule for the 2011 season was enforced for the first time in week 6 against LSU in the first quarter of their game against Florida. As LSU’s Australian punter Brad Wing burned Florida for a touchdown on a fake punt, he gestured at Gator defenders as if to say “Get at me” as he strolled in for the score. The officials called unsportsmanlike conduct on the cocky Aussie and under the new taunting rule, the touchdown was nullified. Even though they got the call right, if you are an Australian punter and you score a 50 yard touchdown against the Florida Gators, you should probably be able to do whatever you want. LSU rolled 41-11.
Offense: Week 6 was ruled by offenses across the nation, with nine teams notching over 50 points

Justin Blackmon and the high powered Cowboy offense put up the most points in week six by scoring 70 against Kansas.
and 20 teams scoring over 40 points. Houston dropped 56 on East Carolina, Oklahoma State dropped a mind blowing 70 on Kansas, Oklahoma bombarded Texas with 55 points, and South Carolina under new quarterback Connor Shaw put up 54 big ones on Kentucky. The service academies also need to work on their defense, with Notre Dame burning Air Force for 59 points and Southern Mississippi unloading on Navy with 63 points.
Andrew Luck: Stanford’s super star had a season high in passing yards with 370 along with three touchdowns in a nationally televised 48-7 win over Colorado. Although the only team Stanford has played this year with a winning record is Duke, Luck has still managed to hold his position as one of the top Heisman candidates and has kept his team in the top 10 in every poll since the start of the season.
