Alex Carder: The Western Michigan QB ravaged the UConn secondary with 479 yards and five touchdowns in the Broncos 38-31 victory over the lowly Huskies. Western Michigan has shown they can hang with the big dogs, only falling 23-20 at #19 Illinois and leading Michigan by a touchdown for the first quarter and trailing by only 10 at the half. Look for Western Michigan and the Toledo Rockets to do it big in the MAC this year.

Robert Woods: Once again, Woods racked up mind-blowing stats against Arizona in a 48-41 win, nabbing 14 receptions for 255 yards and two touchdowns. He currently leads the nation with 747 receiving yards  and has six scores. It would be very easy to argue that the only reason Matt Barkley is racking up great stats is because he has such an outstanding receiver who does all the work for him.

Kansas State has reason to celebrate with a 4-0 start in 2011.

Kansas State: The Wildcats finally downed Robert Griffin in Manhattan on Saturday by picking off a late pass to seal a 36-35 victory over Baylor. Although Griffin did his part, throwing for 346 yards and five touchdowns, Kansas State had the offense to answer. Quarterback Collin Klein ran for 113 yards and a touchdown in addition to throwing for two scores. K-State also blew Baylor away in time of possession, holding the ball for almost 39 minutes while Baylor only held the ball for 21 minutes. In the end, Kansas State is still unbeaten and sits at 4-0 as they get deeper into Big 12 play.
